We are releasing a new update for AuditDesktop - version 2.1.1.

Description of the changes in this version:


Main changes

Documents

MS Office documents
When opening a completed or checked document, fill in only parameters related to the document's creator or reviewer, as well as parameters related to the document itself (errors, findings, information, etc.).

MS Word 2007-2016
The new parameter added to the documents is the company logo.

Excel 2003-2016
The new parameter added to the documents is a table. It fills in audit data in a table format in the document. Only data from the trial balances (initial, adjusted, final, previous) are available in this version.

• The level of performance materiality is displayed
• Errors which exceed in absolute value the performance materiality are marked in red

Method setup & edit

Statement of financial position items
The new option in the settings of calculation formulas is the "entered item value". You need to specify the comparison operator, as well as the item code or a part of the item code. You will get the manually entered value in the statement of financial position of the item in question.

Income statement items
The new option in the settings of calculation formulas is the entered value. You need to specify the comparison operator, as well as the item code or a part of the item code. You will get the manually entered value in the income statement of the item in question.

Database connection
The new parameter added is the database ID.

The window for the setup of the connection to the database is divided in two parts: main parameters and default parameters.

The setting for default name and entry password is moved to the "Default" section. Three new parameters regarding archives creation are added to the "Default" section as well:

• Archives folder - the archives' location, when created through default settings
• Using GBAK - GBAK is used for creating archives on the local computer, and not on the server
• Using database ID when creating archives - AuditDesktop uses database identification when creating archives, instead of names

When updating a database, or clicking the Archive button, you will be asked whether you want to create the archive using the default settings for archiving (an archive folder has to be selected beforehand). The options are:

• Yes - creates the archive inside the selected folder in the "name-YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS" format
• Other - opens the window which allows you to select a different location for the archive
• Cancel - cancels the archiving process
